Joe Mixon has some good news for Bengals fans this Wednesday. Apparently , the running back is already walking and is confident in his return happening depends on how well he feels.Mixon went on to tell reporters that he feels great. This is great news considering the Bengals just waived the injured running back Tra Carson, who was expected to backup Giovani Bernard this week. Of course, Bernard is already filling in for Mixon. Mixon was injured during Thursday night’s game against the Ravens, but he was good enough to return to the game to help seal the win for Cincinnati. It is awesome that Mixon already thinks he feels good enough to run, but it could be even better that doctors are smart enough to hold him back from pushing it. There is no doubt that he is extremely important to the Bengals’ offense, but if missing him for two weeks while he gets as close to 100 percent as possible means Cincinnati will have him available for most of the season, then that is the best course of action. The alternative being he pushes himself too hard too soon and he ends up aggravating something, and as a result http://www.thebengalsfootballauthentic.c...-authentic , Cincinnati will miss him for even longer.Mixon’s spirit and work ethic is exactly what you want from your starting running back, though. It is clear that Mixon could possibly end up being the leader of this team eventually, and him wanting to get out there as soon as possible after his first surgery is a great way to show your teammates that you are here for them.Of course, Mixon’s presence on the field will be missed. He has 179 rushing yards, six receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown on the season so far. He has looked unstoppable at times on the field, and that is really scary is he has been a few shoestring tackles away from some big gains. The way Mixon is talking, though, it seems like the team will only have to rely on Bernard for a game or two rather than up to four weeks like the original timetable that was established.Hopefully , Mixon is back out there soon to keep his breakout season going strong.Billy Price plans to play vs. Steelers; Joe Mixon wishes he could go vs. Falcons The Bengals won’t have Billy Price this week or in Week 5 when they host the Dolphins. That was the expectation when Price revealed that his foot injury would keep him sidelined for at least two weeks, and doctors aren’t even set to re-evaluate it until next week. That’s why there had been little expectation Price would be active when the currently 3-0 Dolphins come to Paul Brown Stadium in Week 5. On Thursday, Price confirmed as much but did add he hopes to play in Week 6 when the Bengals host the Steelers. As for Mixon, he didn’t sound too optimistic about his chances of playing this weekend since it ultimately won’t be his call. The Bengals are probably playing it smart if they hold him out this week to ensure he’s fully recovered from his knee surgery. Giovani Bernard has proven he can keep this offense going and help offset the loss of Mixon. For what it’s worth, head coach Marvin Lewis seems optimistic that both players aren’t far off from a return to game action. “Joe is doing great,” Lewis said of Mixon on Wednesday. “I don’t know where he’ll be listed (on the injury report) this week (laughs), but we’re happy with his and Billy’s (Price) progress. We have a chance to have all hands on deck soon, which is exciting. Joe’s youth is playing a big part http://www.cincinnatibengalsteamonline.c...enn-jersey , and Billy’s youth is playing a big part (in their progress). We’ll keep the glass half-full and keep moving on.”For now, Bernard will start at running back, and Trey Hopkins will be the center. Both have done well, but there’s no question the Bengals need Price and Mixon back to reach their full potential this year.
I can show you all the sports, strength, and even passion. Welcome, I sincerely serve you, everything is for you. You can call me "Lin" and welcome to our sports kingdom—— We will be happy to serve you.
